Drive-by shooting in St Clair

06 Feb, 2012 12:22 PM
THE spate of drive-by shootings that has gripped Sydney has now moved into St Clair.

Police were called to a house on Melville Street, St Clair, after a resident reported hearing gunfire about 11.30pm on Sunday.

When police arrived about 1.20am, the resident of the house believed to have been shot at was uncooperative, they said.

Bullet holes were found in the front of the home, police said.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

Police established a crime scene which was subsequently examined by forensic specialists.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is urged to contact St Marys Detectives or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
