A BLACKTOWN woman, 44, was attacked by two men as she walked home in the middle of the day, last week.
Police said the woman was walking along Gordon Street, Blacktown, at 12.15pm, when two men approached her and demanded she handover her purse.
The woman resisted and the men knocked her to the ground before punching and kicking her, police said.
The victim was treated by her family doctor for minor injuries.
Police are now looking for the two offenders. Both were described as Caucasian inn appearance. One was described as in his early 20s, a skinny build with blonde hair over his ears. He was wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
The other man was also described as in his early 20s, he was a skinny build with short brown-red hair. He was wearing a blue cap or beanie, a light-red buttoned shirt and dark-coloured shorts.
