03 Feb, 2012 06:58 AM
BLUE Mountains Radioplayers will get romantic for three plays on Sunday to get people in the mood for Valentine’s Day.

They are ‘Valentine’, ‘The Man Who Thought of Everything’ and ‘Jane Goes to a Psychiatrist’.

The plays will be performed for the first time at the Scenic World Auditorium, 1 Violet Street, Katoomba from 2.30pm.

Valentine, written by by Wyllis Cooper is about Abe Lincoln's first love, Ann Rutledge.

Few people know about Ann, because she died of typhoid before they could get married.

Greg McClain is Abe Lincoln, Annette Emerson is Ann, the shopkeeper is Colin Semmler and Aunt Hannah is Jan Vaughan.

The Man Who Thought of Everything is about an elopement with a very funny plot.

Amanda Russell is Irene, Juliette Palmer-Frederick is Phyllis, her best friend, and David Cox is Ernest.

Jane Goes to a Psychiatrist, one of the Easy Aces Series, is hilarious.

This play is part of the Roaring 20's Theme for February and everyone who wears the theme outfit will be competing for the best costume prize.

For more information or to book phone (02) 4780 0250.
