Woman trapped in car crash at Doonside

01 Feb, 2010 12:29 PM
A woman was trapped for half an hour after her car crashed into a power pole in Doonside last Friday.

The accident happened on Power Street shortly before 7pm, when the woman, a Doonside resident aged in her 20s, drove her car through a roundabout.

An NRMA CareFlight doctor and ambulance officers treated the woman, who lapsed in and out of consciousness, at the scene.

An ambulance later rushed the woman to Westmead Hospital, where her condition was described as stable.
