Winston Hills man charged in Thomas Kelly investigation

Police investigating the alleged murder of The King’s School student Thomas Kelly have charged a Winston Hills man with weapons offences.

The man, 20, was charged for possession of an extendable baton and air pistol that were seized by police during a search warrant in July.

He is due to face Parramatta Local Court on Monday, February 25.

Police said the charges were unrelated to the death of Mr Kelly, who died after being king hit in Kings Cross on the night of July 7.

A Seven Hills man, 18, is before the courts charged with the murder of Mr Kelly, who was a border at The King’s School in North Parramatta.
