Motorists have been reminded to be vigilant with school zones around western Sydney are back in force.
NRMA president Wendy Machin said it was important for motorists to be aware that school zones would be in place from Tuesday today despite most children not starting school until tomorrow. Some schools, including Catholic schools, will not go back until next week.
“We don’t want drivers inadvertently breaking the law and getting booked for driving through a school zone next Tuesday,” Ms Machin said.
“Most children will be enjoying their last day of holidays before the school term begins, but drivers still need to slow down around because there will be some children at school.”
