Quakers Hill teen charged with drug supply

A 19-year-old man from Quakers Hill has been charged with supplying prohibited drugs after a police operation which resulted in numerous arrests at a dance party at Moore Park.

Surry Hills police and officers from the dog squad made numerous arrests, at the Sunday, January 27 party, which was attended by 5,500 people.

The 19-year-old was found to be in posession of 94 ecstasy tablets and was issued with a court attendance notice.

Police searched 179 people and 65 drug detections were made for a variety of drugs, predominantly pills and powders.

A total of 61 people were issued court attendance notices for drug offences including:

- An 18-year-old from Concord West arrested and charged with supply prohibited drug after being found in possession of 84 ecstasy tablets;

- A 25-year-old from Bardwell Valley arrested and charged with supply prohibited drug being 22 ecstasy tablets.
