ONLY two roads in the Blacktown Local Government Area are still closed to traffic following the heavy rainfall on Monday.
They are Stony Creek Road, Shanes Park and Rouse Road, Rouse Hill.
A spokeswoman for Blacktown Council said Grange Avenue in Schofields and South Street in Schofields, which were closed to traffic yesterday, were now opened to traffic.
Blacktown SES controller Gary Fry said its working situation returned to normal after the rainfall stopped yesterday afternoon.
He said floodwaters were receding and that the area SES Centre would not be calling for extra staff unless heavy rainfall returned.
A spokesman for the Public Information and Inquiry Centre, which was activated to support the current flood operation in NSW, said it had taken more than 900 calls in two days from members of the public seeking a range of flood-related information.

Emergency Services are urging residents to stay informed of the current flood updates and remain vigilant.
Motorists are being advised to be aware of the condition of roads as water subsides and that some roads may have potholes or surface damage.
