Autumn racing carnival to run hot at Rosehill

ROSEHILL Gardens is the venue for the fast approaching multi-million dollar rich autumn Sydney thoroughbred racing carnival.

And one of the first feature days to get your the pulse racing is on Saturday, February 16.

The feature event on the program is the $175,000 Group 2 Royal Sovereign Stakes (1200 metres), for three-year-old colts and geldings.

Patrons on course have the the chance to enter the "SMS to WIN" competition and can pocket a gold sovereign worth $750. The Australian Turf Club is also offering packages with a "Super Saver" value ticket which costs $30 and you get $70 value.

The ticket includes, $10 food voucher, a $5 bet, two standard beverages either standard beer, wine, sparkling wine or soft drink, a racebook, a TAB Sportsbet pen and a free general admission ticket to the Rosehill Gardens Guinea Day meeting on Saturday, March 30.

The $3.5 million Golden Slipper will be run at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, April 6.

Gates open for the Saturday, February 16 meeting at 11am. Adults, $15 and concession $5.
