Blacktown residents invited to small business seminars

PEOPLE running small businesses can attend free seminars in Blacktown during the next 10 months.

The basic business seminars are offered by Blacktown Regional Economic & Employment Development(BREED) at Nirimba Business Centre,Building T2A, Nirimba Education Precinct, Eastern Road, Quakers Hill.

BREED seminars will start at 5.30pm and continue on the third Thursday of every month.

These seminars will cover legal business basics, taxation, marketing, GST, insolvency,financing, website Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), employment issues, work health and safety and networking.

Donna Patriarca, BREED centre manager said it would be a great opportunity for business people and their clients to extend their knowledge and build their business networks.

Presenters will include Steve Brown – Etienne Lawyers, Dr Jim Taggart  – The Taggart Group, Michael Walls – Access Business Magazine, David Kenney – Hall Chadwick Chartered Accountants, Paul Rafter – Etienne Lawyers and John Brown – a director of listed companies.
