WOOF-Fest, a dog day out, will be held in Blacktown on Sunday, March 10.
The event is at Western Sydney Parklands Bungarribee Dog Park, corner of Doonside Road and Holbeche Road, Doonside from 9am to 1pm.
Celebrity vets Dr Katrina Warren and Dr Pete Higgins will be on hand to speak on dog health issues and answer questions from the public.
There’ll be competitions including Best Dog Neckware, Dog with Best Trick and Best Dog/Owner Lookalike as well as face painting for dogs and their owners.
There will be stalls filled with doggy products as well as food and drinks.
The first 300 through the gates get a goody bag.
There will also be information on pet adoption, dog grooming, fostering and adopting out of Sharpei dogs, a pet photo studio, and RSPCA information stall and much more.
A Western Sydney Parklands spokeswoman said the special event was brought back by popular demand.
She said the Western Sydney Parklands Bungarribee Dog Park was Sydney’s largest fenced dog off- leash area.
