Status updates and check-ins revealed loved up folks in Blacktown were keen on professing their love online.

This is the first time Facebook has published information about Australia’s most romantic cities and suburbs. The company collected the information from user’s posts containing keywords about love or romance and their frequency. Westmead is Facebook’s most romantic suburb in Sydney, who won with the most mentions of “Valentine,” “love,” “roses,” and “chocolates.”
Facebook also found that Aussie users posted about expecting roses from their lovers during the week leading up to Valentines day but, chocolates dominated status updates as the gift of choice this year.
Sydney’s most romantic suburbs were: Westmead, Blacktown, Epping, Newtown, Chipping Norton, Seven Hills, Ryde, Riverwood, Cremorne and Fairfield.
