NEWCASTLE’s favourite lads and lasses are coming to Castle Hill to show us Aussies how Geordies party.
Armed with their tightest t-shirts and shortest shorts, the Geordie Shore housemates have packed their bags and headed to Australia to film their sixth season.
So far, blonde bombshell Charlotte and gym fanatic James touched down on our shores on Tuesday for a string of appearances.
As part of the tour, the two house mates will make a special appearance at Hillside Hotel on Sunday, March 3, from 1pm.
Geordie Shore is a spin-off of the US’s Jersey Shore, which was set in New Jersey and it was also the inspiration for Network Ten’s 2012 flop, The Shire.
A ‘‘Geordie’’ is someone who was born in or around Newcastle and speaks the native Newcastle dialect.
In Geordie Shore, the cast are shacked-up together in a house and party hard at any venue they attend, with the males of the group particularly proud of ‘‘pulling birds’’ (wooing women) and the females constantly in denial about the night before.
Between them they stir a whole range of emotions including fights, turbulent relationships, rumours and betrayal.
There was even a wedding a proposal.
MTV’s Geordie Shore is the most successful and highest-rating television series in MTV UK history and the No.1 show on MTV in Australia and New Zealand.
