SENIOR residents who love music especially those from multicultural backgrounds are being sought to join a ‘‘jamming session’’ at Toongabbie.
They are invited to join members of Wisefolk Club at Toongabbie Bowling Club at Station Road on the last Wednesday of the month from 11am to 2.30pm.
Organiser Sonia Bennett said it is open to people from 50 to 90 years old who can sing, dance or play musical instruments.
She said many people were not aware of the existence of the club in the region.
Ms Bennett who writes her own songs and play the guitar is looking for people from other backgrounds to make the club more versatile in music.
‘‘The club now has about 40 members who will sing or play musical instruments either solo or in a group,’’ she said.
‘‘We want to add some variety to our music ..like some spices to our jamming sessions.
‘‘All you have to do is to bring yourself and your favourite musical instrument to jam up a storm.
‘‘We don’t care what type of music you love or play. We love all music.’’
Those interested can phone Ms Bennett on 9621 2394.
