Lights go off for Earth Hour at Rouse Hill Town Centre

Rouse Hill Town Centre has won numerous awards for environmental design, so it is unsurprising that Earth Hour is an important annual event for its management, residents and businesses.

This Saturday the centre will show its support for Earth Hour by reducing lighting as much as possible from 8.30pm.

Perimeter signage will be turned off, carpark lighting will be in security mode, the air conditioning plant will be staged down to reduce consumption and common lighting will be reduced to security lighting.

Retailers have been encouraged to reduce or turn off their shop front lighting and residents have been asked to reduce their lighting for the hour.

Additional security will be rostered to ensure the centre remains safe.
