Possible Seven Hills armed robbery thwarted

A WOMAN was arrested during an alleged attempted armed robbery at Seven Hills this morning.

Police say the woman, 37, walked into a convenience store in Leabons Lane about 12.25am on Wednesday, threatened an employee with a screwdriver and demanded money.

The victim alleged the woman assaulted him and that the pair then wrestled.

Police were called and arrested the woman.

The male employee, 25, suffered a minor wound to his stomach and arm. He was treated at the scene.

Police continued their inquiries this morning.
