Simply Voices choir members are warming up their vocal chords in preparation for the groups fifth annual charity concert.
The Blacktown group will perform a dream theme concert at Rooty Hill School of Arts on September 28,to raise money for the Blacktown City Cancer Council Relay for Life.
Simply Voices started in 2007 as a joint project of Blacktown Council and Blacktown TAFE to encourage people aged over 50 to remain active and involved in their community.
It has a permanent musical director and a membership of 40 men and women who meet each week to practice.
All money raised will be donated to the Blacktown City Relay for Life.
The concert will be held at Rooty Hill School of Arts, Rooty Hill Road South, Rooty Hill at 2pm.
Tickets cost $10.
Relay for Life will be held over the weekend of October 26-27 at Blacktown International Sportspark’s Athletics Centre.
