Hope 103.2’s new Mornings Show presenter is former presenter Katrina Roe.
She replaces Erica Davies who is leaving after 18 months with the western Sydney-based mainstream and Christian contemporary FM music station.
“There’s a uniqueness about being on radio, it’s so personal,’’ Ms Davies said.
‘‘It’s been a privilege to be on the other end of that telephone and I’ll miss that.’’
Ms Roe starts on Monday.
She originally joined the Hope 103.2 team in 2006 as its first producer of Open House before leaving to have her first child.
Ms Roe returned to host the Mornings Show throughout 2010 and 2011 before having her second child.
ABOUT THE STATION
Reverend Vernon Turner started the Christian Broadcasting Association Limited in 1953.
It took 25 years for CBA to be granted an FM licence.
It started broadcasting in March 1979 before being renamed as FM103.2 — The Heart of Sydney in May 2002 when it moved to a purpose-built radio facility in Seven Hills.
FM103.2 became Hope 103.2 in December 2008.
