The family of a missing 65-year-old Blacktown woman have asked police and the public for help to locate her.
About 5pm on Sunday 15 September 2013, Mary Falzon was last seen at her home in Nerada Street by her son.
About 6pm on Monday, September 16 Mrs Falzon's son returned home and found her missing.
After being reported missing to Police from Blacktown Local Area Command it was established that Mrs Falzon had attended a doctor’s surgery on Campbell Street at Blacktown about 10am.
Police believe that Mrs Falzon has not taken medication for several ailments and has previously gone missing when she got onto an incorrect bus or train.
She is described as being of Mediterranean appearance with a short solid build and was last seen wearing grey pants and a jumper.
Mrs Falzon is also believed to be carrying a pink purse.
Investigators have conducted a search for the missing woman and have urged anyone with information about Mrs Falzon to come forward.
