After spending more than two months on a tour bus across America, local boys 5 Seconds of Summer have landed back home in Australia, but only for a short amount of time before jetting off to New Zealand.
The boys, Luke, Ashton, Michael and Calum, returned home on Wednesday, September 11, as they took a break from touring, before kicking off the Australian tour with One Direction on Monday, September 23, in Adelaide.
5SOS are now currently in Perth playing to sold out crowds before returning to the All Phones arena in Sydney this Saturday, October 5.
While being over in America on the Take Me Home tour, the boys also had taken some time out to go sightseeing and write and record songs with wellknown artists Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low), John Feldman and many more.
“Written so many songs and can’t wait for you guys to hear them,” the band posted on Facebook.
When Ashton spoke to the Hawkesbury Gazette before going on tour he had given us a heads-up that the band’s album would hit the stores by the end of the year.
“We have written about 70 songs already and they have all been produced and recorded already . . . the album will definitely be out by the end of the year.”
