Rouse Hill woman dies from serious burns

The woman who suffered from serious burns at Rouse Hill on Monday has died in the hospital. 

Police said the 32-year-old died yesterday morning.

Police from The Hills Local Area Command established a crime scene and inquiries surrounding the incident are continuing.

A spokesman said police and paramedics were called by a neighbour who saw the woman who was on fire, running from the house on Greensborough Avenue at about 2pm.

She was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.

The woman’s husband, aged 34, was taken to hospital with minor burns and has since been released.

There was nobody else at home at the time.
