Motorcycle gang member charged with intimidating police

Police have charged a suspected Hells Angels member with intimating a police officer at a traffic crash at Quakers Hill early this week.

They will allege the man made threats to one of the police officers who was responding to a traffic crash on Highfield Road on Wednesday evening.

The man — who was a passenger in one of the vehicles in the accident — became aggressive and threatened the police officer.

Strike Force Raptor officers were notified of the incident yesterday morning and went to a home at Doonside where they arrested a 22-year-old man.

He was taken to Quakers Hill police station and charged with intimidating a police officer in the execution of duty.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on January 24, 2014.

Strike Force Raptor was established by State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009 for high-impact operation, targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and any associated criminal enterprises.
