Two members of the Lone Wolf gang have been charged after drugs valued at more than $3 million were seized in Minchinbury and Kellyville.
Police executed a search warrant at a storage unit in Minchinbury on Wednesday, December 11, where they allege they seized about 1.8 kilograms of methylamphetamine, the drug known as ice.
Police will allege in court that the seizure had a potential street value of more than $3m.
About 2pm yesterday, police arrested a man, 33, at the storage unit. Detectives than raided a home in Kellyville, where they seized more than 220 grams of a substance believed to be methylamphetamine and a number of mobile phones.
At 4.35pm yesterday, officers arrested the suspect’s 29-year-old brother in Kellyville before executing a search warrant at another Kellyville property and seizing items, including electronic devices.
The brothers were charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.
The 33-year-old man was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in Mount Druitt Local Court today, Tuesday, December 17.
The 29-year-old man was also refused bail. He is scheduled to appear in Parramatta Local Court today.
