Central region got the most with 58, north west was second with 43, followed by south west (37), western (9), northern (5), and southern (5).
They were among 157 new probationary constables welcomed at an attestation ceremony.
Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said the recruits should be commended for their efforts and dedication in becoming police officers.
