A 28-year-old Quakers Hill man — and an alleged high-ranking member of the Bandidos OMCG — has been charged over a home invasion and assault in Werrington Downs last year.
Detectives arrested him at his home just before 6.30am yesterday (Thursday) and charged him with aggravated break and enter; aggravated detain for advantage; demand money with menace; and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Friday).
Police will allege that on November 14, 2013, two men forced entry to a home on Greenbank Drive at Werrington Downs and threatened a woman and her 14-year-old daughter.
Police have been told they detained the pair until the 41-year-old woman’s son returned home.
They allegedly demanded money from the son before assaulting him with a spanner.
Investigations are continuing.
