Hunt for hijackers in Blacktown

Police have appealed for help to find two men who ‘highjacked’ a woman of her car in Blacktown yesterday.   

At 4.20pm, the 40-year-old woman parked her car in the Patrick Street shopping centre car park and returned to her car around 7pm.

She told police a man reached inside the car and pulled her out from the car. The woman was not injured.

The woman’s blue Toyota Yaris was last seen travelling south on Flushcombe Road.

It was later found in the car park of a hotel on the Great Western Highway and had panel damage and a buckled front wheel.

Police made a search of the surrounding area but was unable to find the two men.

The first man was described as being of Caucasian appearance, 40-50-years-old, thin build, with very short grey hair, 183cm tall and stubble on his face.

 When he was last seen this man was wearing black track pants and a grey full sleeved jumper.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 30-35 years-old, of thin build, with short black hair and a goatee and wearing a horizontally striped t-shirt and track pants.
