A 31-year-old Chittaway Bay man accused of being the leader of the Blacktown faction of the Brothers For Life was charged with four new offences in Sydney yesterday.
Police officers from the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad filed the charges against him at Central Local Court.
He is charged with the possession of prohibited firearm, aggravated break and enter, fire at dwelling house and direct criminal group.
The charges relate to the shooting of a premises in Lignite Place, Eagle Vale on August 2 and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
He remains in custody and is next due to appear in Central Local Court on March 7.
The squad formed Strike Force Sitella to investigate a number of shootings in Sydney during the second half of 2013.
It has arrested and charged 11 people with more than 80 offences during the past few months.
