Quick action by police led to the arrest of two men who held up a service station in Blacktown this morning.
Police arrived at the service station at 12.30am after the attendant activated the security alarm.
They found the attendant and a man who said he was a customer.
Another man was found in the storeroom of the Richmond Road premises.
The two men were arrested and charged them with attempted robbery.
They were refused bail and will appear at Blacktown Local Court next week.
