ONCE again lords and ladies, knights, kings and queens will take to the field at Blacktown City Council's annual My Lords and Ladies Medieval Fayre.
The Medieval Fayre will kick-start Blacktown City Festival on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25.
The International Jousting Competition will be the highlight of this year's event with riders from New Zealand and England seeking to defeat the Australian champion.
The jousting action will take place in the jousting arena on Saturday from 11am to 2pm.

From Vikings and the Saxons, to Crusaders and High Medieval eras, there is plenty to see and do for the whole family.
With music, animal experiences, camel and pony rides, warriors, and much more, the My Lords and Ladies Medieval Fayre is living history at Blacktown.
Blacktown City Festival will run from Saturday, May 24 to Saturday, May 31, with plenty of exciting events at a range of venues across the city.
