Jeans for Genes

A host of country music talent will perform at Rooty Hill RSL Club at 7pm on Saturday, May 24, in support of the Total Country Jamm for Genes.

Catherine Britt will headline the stellar country music line-up which includes Mike Carr, Buddy Goode and the Viper Creek Band. The club's grand 732-seat Tivoli Showroom is the new location for the Total Country Jamm for Genes. Guests will also have the chance to bid for a pair of jeans worked into an artwork by artist Fonda Shae and signed by all of the 2013 CMC Rocks North Queensland.

The event is encouraging Aussies to register their support and join the army of Genies in the lead-up to Jeans for Genes on August 1. Barry Kenyon, Jeans for Genes' national campaign manager, said: "There are many ways to show your support for Jeans for Genes from wearing denim or buying merchandise to volunteering or holding your own fund-raiser."
