GET into the sporting spirit with free sporting activities at the Sports in The Park event at the Blacktown Showground.
Visitors will be able to join in a variety of sporting activities, including soccer, baseball and rugby league, from 3.30pm to 11pm, on May 28 .
The night will end with the first State of Origin game being shown on the big screen from 7pm.
Kick some goals with Little Kickers, bring your bike and helmet for free safety checks and a bike valet service from Addventageous and you could even have an opportunity to chat with players from Blue Sox and the National Rugby League.
A special feature will be the BMX, Skateboarding and scooter demonstrations from Big Air School with sessions starting at 4pm.
Hot food and drinks will be available.
Chef Victor Pisapia will teach Blacktown residents how to create delicious meals for the family on May 27 from noon to 2pm, on the Village Green.
Mr Pispia will help people learn some new skills in creating a healthy meal at this free event.
He will explore his love of food and passion for teaching in two cooking sessions.
