BLACKTOWN City's diverse, vibrant community groups and organisations will be showcased in the Blacktown City Festival finale with the annual Streets Alive and Parade Day on Saturday, May 31.

This year's MCs will be Channel 9's Weekend Today hosts Cameron Williams and Deborah Knight.

The streets of the Blacktown CBD will be lined with more than 350 stalls, gourmet food stalls and exciting displays.

The day begins with a vibrant parade that marches off from 11am.

The parade features an abundance of colour as community organisations and sporting groups take to the streets to celebrate living in Blacktown.

The parade will feature many floats and marching bands — representative of the many diverse and multicultural groups that call Blacktown home.

Visitors will experience the vibrancy of the city while wandering through the streets to any of the six performance stages throughout the CBD.

Headlining the Streets Alive and Parade Day is Taylor Henderson, who featured in the 2013 X Factor series.

Taylor will perform his hits Borrow My Heart and When You Were Mine on stage one at 12.10pm.

The creative chalk art display is another event on the corner of Main Street and Flushcombe Road.
