Drivers in NSW can now have 10-year licences and extended validity of pink slips under state government changes.
From the end of the year pink slips will be valid for six months rather than six weeks, and by the first quarter of next year, customers between the ages of 21 and 44 will have the option of a 10-year driver's licence.
Light vehicles will not be affected.
