PEOPLE who visit Blacktown RSL's recently opened East West Restaurant will be offered a huge choice of quality food at great value for money.

The 500-seat buffet style restaurant at Second Avenue offers a wide variety of eastern and western cuisine, in an all-you-can-eat self-service format.

As well as traditional western dishes, there are many Asian dishes to choose from, and a sushi train serving fresh handmade Japanese food.

East West Buffet also offers desserts, cakes and ice-creams, all for one fixed price.

The restaurant replaced an existing eatery at the club.

It takes up more space to give diners plenty of room around the food servery, as well as plenty of seating in the renovated space.

A club spokesman said business in the new facility had been brisk, with diners praising the quality and freshness of the food and going back for more.

Lunch from Monday to Saturday costs $13.80 (members), $14.80 (visitors), $12.80 (seniors), $10.80 (children aged eight to 12), $6.80 (children aged three to seven) and free for children aged under three.

The Sunday Seafood extravaganza lunch is $17.80 (members), $18.80 (visitors), $17.80 (seniors), $12.80 (children 8-12), $7.80 (children 3-7) and free for children under three.
