Fun with Shakespeare

Catch Blacktown Theatre Company's rendition of William Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It. As You Like It includes love at first sight, complicated gender reversals and downright mischief.

The play features talented Blacktown actors who are producing quality theatre for the community.

As You Like It will be presented at the Richmond Road Theatre, 19-27 Richmond Road.

Shows will be performed on Wednesday, July 9 (8pm), Friday, July 11 (8pm) and Saturday, July 12 (2pm and 8pm).

John Ford Coley at Workers

John Ford Coley is touring Australia with a stop at Blacktown Workers on Saturday, July 19 at 8pm.

Coley is best known for his soft rock partnership with England Dan. Their hits included I'd Really Love to See You Tonight, It's Sad to Belong, Just Tell Me You Love Me and Nights are Forever. Coley will be supported by world-class Filipino artists and X-Factor finalist Mark Mabasa.

Eurogliders reunion tour

The Eurogliders are inviting Blacktown residents to a trip down memory lane on August 2.

In the late 1980s they toured to sell-out crowds in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the US and Canada.

They are reuniting for a run of special shows this year and will be making a stop at the Blacktown Workers Club to sing hits such as Heaven (Must Be There), The City of Soul and Can't Wait to See You.
