Girl indecently assaulted in Glenwood

Quakers Hill police are calling for information from the public after a teenage girl was indecently assaulted in Glenwood this morning.

A 17-year-old girl was walking along a causeway on Shaun Drive about 10.10am today, Thursday, May 24 when a man stepped out from behind a wall and confronted her.

Police have been told the man then forcefully grabbed the girl, pinned her up against a fence and indecently assaulted her.

She was able to fight the offender off, causing him to flee the scene.

Police were notified a short time later and have commenced an investigation into the matter.

Detectives would like to speak to a man who has been described as having an olive complexion, being aged approximately 20-25.

He was described as being 170 centimetres tall with a large build, unshaven facial stubble with dark brown hair, acne scars, bushy brown eyebrows and light blue eyes.

Officers said he was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, orange cap, denim jeans and thongs, he also smelt of intoxicating liquor and cigarettes.
