Man charged with drug supply after unit search

A man has been charged after cash and drugs were found in his Blacktown house yesterday, Monday, June 25.

Blacktown detectives searched a unit in Clifton Street about 12.30pm.

During the search they found $43,000 in the ceiling of the unit and $18,000 in a bag.

They also located 1.7 grams of powder believed to be cocaine, 2.7 grams of ice and six grams of an unidentified liquid.

Police also seized several laptops and mobile phones, some jewellery and other yet to be identified substances.

A 43-year old man was arrested and charged with drug supply and possession offences and other charges.

He will appear at Blacktown Local Court later today, Tuesday, June 26.
