Man charged over armed robberies including two at Glendenning

Police have charged a man over a series of convenience store robberies including two at Glendenning.

Officers from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit have been investigating the four armed robberies which occurred in April.

Convenience stores in Colyton, Minchinbury and Glendenning were targeted, with cash and cigarettes stolen.

Detectives raided properties in Bidwill and Oakhurst yesterday.

An 18-year-old man was charged with four counts of armed robbery.

He was refused bail and will appear at Mount Druitt Local Court today.
