VALENTINE Cafe combines the style of an inner-city cafe with the relaxed nature of the north-west.
Marketing manager William Trousas said the team at the newly established cafe, at Valentine Sports Park in Glenwood, was striving to revitalise the landmark.
"The cafe offers premium Toby's Estate coffee, prepared by highly trained baristas, a variety of bakery-sourced rustic breads, a range of on-the-go fresh sandwiches, pastas, gourmet pies, sweets and more, as well as an out-of-this-world breakfast and lunch menu," he said.
The cafe features a juice bar, with beverages suitable for breakfast and lunch.
"The menu is expertly prepared by chefs drawing on extensive international cooking backgrounds," Mr Trousas said.
"Several of the signature dishes are highly recommended when visiting: the buttermilk pancakes with mascapone and mixed berry compote; the basil and goat's cheese omelette for breakfast; the pulled pork with home-made slaw on sourdough or the grilled Atlantic salmon with mash and salad greens for lunch."
Trading hours are 8am to 4pm on weekdays and 8am to 3pm on weekends, but Mr Trousas said the times were flexible and open to feedback from the community.
"Valentine Cafe is family-friendly, a great spot for business catch-ups and welcoming of big groups," he said.
"There is even a communal boardroom-style table, that seats up to 20 guests, available for bookings.
"Feel free to drop in the next time you're in the area, and meet the Valentine team."
