Performers from across western Sydney are getting together to raise money for JDRF Australia.
The ‘If You’ve Got it Flaunt It’ charity event will raise money for research into type 1 diabetes while showcasing the wonderful talent western Sydney has to offer.
Performers from The Hills, Hawkesbury, Blacktown and the Blue Mountains are showing their talents on Saturday, August 16 at Quakers Hill High School at 6.30pm/7pm.
Talent includes a 13-year-old trumpet player who sings and a 15-year-old singer songwriter who is performing his originals with his guitar.
One performer is an 11-year-old country singer whose dad passed away from type 1 diabetes three years ago and wanted to do something in memory of his father.
There are also some great older acts who have kindly donated their time, including an opera singer, musical theatre, pop singer on guitar, two violinists doing a folk duo and a rock band.
Lots of talent on the night plus a raffle with some great prizes from some amazing supporters.
Tickets: $30, flaunt2cure.com.
