Police seized cannabis worth more than $3 million and charged three men after a drug raid in Schofields on Sunday.
Shortly before 3pm, Drug Squad officers had stopped three cars in Meadows Road and spoke to the three men driving them.
Afterwards they searched a nearby property, where they allegedly discovered a large, indoor hydroponic plantation with more than 600 cannabis plants and about 10 kilograms of harvested material.
Police took the three men to Quakers Hill police station and charged them with cultivating commercial quantities of cannabis.
Two of the men, 62 of Quakers Hills and 52 of Merrylands, appear in Penrith Local Court on September 26.
The third man, 67 of Merrylands, appears in Blacktown Local Court on August 19.
Police dismantled the cannabis plantation in Schofields and seized the equipment for use as evidence.
