Police have laid charges over the rebirth of stolen vehicles found in Kings Park last year.
On August 7, 2013, police and Fair Trading officers identified 12 stolen vehicles at a smash repair business.
Strike Force Gorman was formed to investigate the thefts.
On Thursday, detectives seized a vehicle at a Burwood business and arrested two men.
One, a 42-year-old Blacktown resident and the other, 44 of Cronulla, were charged with car rebirthing offences and appear in Burwood Local Court on September 18.
The Property Crime Squad commander, Murray Chapman, commended Strike Force Gorman.
‘‘The officers who have worked this case have done an outstanding job,’’ Detective Superintendent Chapman said.
‘‘I want to commend them for their efforts and encourage them to keep up the good fight against organised car rebirthing in NSW.’’
