The NSW boys's team won a tight game against Victoria in the Australian Schools National Championships third round on Tuesday at Blacktown's Lily Homes Stadium.
Two first half goals to Jack Fulton and Felipe Zapata-Castro set the foundation and although Victoria put one past NSW in the 77th minute they couldn't trouble the scorer again.
With three points again secured the NSW boys' are still top of the ladder, however Queensland sit even on points and goal difference, so the remaining matches will decide the tournament.
The NSW girls' side continued their dominant tournament, slamming six goals past Victoria in their third round match up.
Logan Garard had a double and the rest were shared between Jemma House, Taren King, Katelyn Leadbeater and Clare Woods.
The girls championship is now the girls to lose with a three point gap at the top now and have a plus-11 goal difference with the second place on just plus-five.
With two matches remaining in the championship both NSW sides are right in the hunt, and the girls are arguably hot favourites from here.
