LUGANO: The withdrawal of Richie Porte from the Giro d'Italia by his Sky team due to hip and knee injuries sustained from a crash in last Friday's stage could pay dividends for him and his British squad in the Tour de France, believes Orica-GreenEDGE head sports director Matt White.
