Youth charged over Glendenning graffiti attack

A youth has been charged with 70 offences over the alleged malicious damage of dozens of buses at a depot in Glendenning.

Shortly after 7am yesterday, Sunday, September 9, staff attended the depot on Glendenning Road, Glendenning, and discovered 68 buses had been tagged with graffiti. Two of the buses had graffiti along their entire sides.

Following information received, police arrested a 16-year-old male at home in Samantha Crescent, Glendenning, yesterday afternoon.

The youth was taken to Mt Druitt police station where he was charged with 68 counts of damage/deface property with graffiti.

He was also charged with enter land with intent to commit indictable offence, and destroy or damage property.

He’s been given bail to appear at Parramatta Children’s Court on Tuesday, October 16.
