Jetstar has been forced to cancel flights in and out of Bali after a volcanic eruption.
An ash cloud is drifting towards Denpasar International Airport, making it too dangerous to fly, the airline says.
Nine flights have been grounded so far.
"Jetstar has this evening cancelled a number of flights in and out of Bali as the ash cloud from the Mount Raung eruption in Indonesia drifts towards Denpasar International Airport," the airline said in a statement on Thursday night.
"We are closely monitoring the weather conditions and will provide further updates on the impact to flights."
Flights cancelled on Friday include:
- JQ90-91 - Cairns-Denpasar (2 July) / Denpasar-Cairns (3 July)
- JQ83 - Darwin-Denpasar (3 July)
- JQ107 - Denpasar-Perth (3 July)
- JQ117 - Singapore-Denpasar (3 July) / Denpasar-Perth (3 July)
Affected travellers will be able to travel on another flight within seven days of their intended travel date, without further charge, Jetstar said.
Passengers unable to travel within the next seven days can receive travel vouchers to the value of their original fare. Jetstar travel vouchers are valid for six months.
