The Sydney Sacred Music Festival will be in Blacktown this weekend with The Lullaby Project performing at Bowman Hall.
Blacktown and western Sydney choirs will combine under director Linda Marr to perform sacred songs passed on through the generations.
Simply Voices, Singing Street and the Blacktown Maori Choir will all perform.
The festival, which is in its second year, aims to showcase the diversity within the community.

Calling local gamers
For those who consider themselves king or queen of the Mario Kart track, there is a gaming tournament in Stanhope Gardens and Mount Druitt next Monday and Tuesday.
The tournament will be played on the Wii console and there are also prizes to be won.
Winners will be crowned the Gaming Champion.

Womens cricket stars at Blacktown
NSW will take on the ACT in the women’s cricket at Blacktown International Sportspark this Saturday and Sunday.
A 50-over match will be played tomorrow with a twenty20 match on Sunday.
The matches will be played at the AFL/cricket centre.
