Man bashed in Seven Hills

A man was bashed and robbed in Seven Hills yesterday.

Police said  a 39-year-old man was approached by two unknown men while walking along Boomerang Place a about 3.30pm.

The man was struck a number of times to the face with a weapon before being pushed to the ground.

Police have been told the offenders then continued to kick the man before stealing his phone and a small sum of cash.

They fled and emergency services were notified.

Police said it is unclear what weapon the man was assaulted with.

The 39-year-old was taken to Blacktown Hospital where he was treated for serious facial injuries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or any suspicious behaviour in the area, to come forward.

Both men are described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged in their early to mid 30s. 

One of the men had missing front teeth and a ‘rats tail’.
