Wildlife tour in Blacktown's parklands

NATURE lovers can see wildlife that  have made Western Sydney Parklands home for the last time this year in Blacktown on Sunday, October 21.

They include many bird species that live or travel through the parklands, as well as some interesting animals and insects.

To join the wildlife walk, to be held from 8.30am to 10.30am, meet at Joe McAleer Park, Winten Drive, Glendenning.

Experts from the Cumberland Bird Observers Club will lead the walk.

Binoculars will be supplied and participants will receive a copy of the colour brochure "Birds of Western Sydney" developed by Mark Fuller, resident Parklands Wildlife roving reporter.

Cost is $7.50 or $20 for two adults and two children.
