Courteney Cox has revealed she regrets having cosmetic procedures when she was younger.
Speaking to everyone's favourite talk show host, Bear Grylls (no, really! She was on Running Wild), Cox opened up about ageing in Hollywood.
"Was there pressure to look a certain way?" Grylls asked the Friends actress during a pause in their hike through rural Ireland.
"Just being a woman in this business... getting older is not the easiest," Cox said. "But I have learned lessons. I think I was trying to keep up with being older."
Although the 52-year-old actress said she did "regret" some procedures, they were not permanent in effect.
"I have done things that I regret, [but] luckily they're things that dissolve and go away, so that's good, because that's not always been my best look," she said.
As for the current state of her countenance, Cox said her new mantra was, "Just let it be."
In a 2013 interview with Closer magazine, Cox said it was "no secret" that she had used botox in the past, however she was not interested in having anything more done, as she did not think her fiance [Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid] would be a fan.
"I won't go under the knife," she said at the time. "Johnny isn't into that whole Hollywood look anyway, so I don't feel pressure to keep looking like a 20-year-old for him."
Cox's appearance on Running Wild was a series of deep and meaningful chats to rival the 11pm mark in a Year 9 camp cabin.
In addition to talking about the pressure of ageing, Cox opened up about the "brutal" process of ending her engagement to McDaid in 2014, before getting back together "in a new context" a year later.
"He's from Ireland, and the way he regards love is precious," she said. "We have to treat it in a different way. It's more special... You coddle it. So, I didn't know how to regard love the way he does."
